Omaha Poker Game Play
In this community card game the players have to make the best hand with five cards with the cards available to you. It is similar to the Texas Hold’em game with only small changes in its game play. This game is played with the standard 52 card deck. Maximum 10 players can play in this Omaha poker game. In the Texas Hold’em poker game two cards are dealt whereas in the Omaha poker game four cards are dealt. You can use three out of five community cards that is available to you and two out of four cards.
Game Play The player who is to the left of dealer starts the game with a small bet. This bet is called as the blind bet. Then the next player post a blind bet that is bigger than the previous one. So before the start of the betting the players will deal the cards i.e. each player will have four cards face down. The action starts after dealing with all the cards. The players can raise, fold, or bet after the start by the one to the left of big blind. Three of the community cards are dealt after the betting, this is called a flop in poker. After the players adjust to this situation, second betting round starts. If none of the players bet then the others have no other option than to fold, bet, or raise. Fourth community card is dealt before the next round of betting. This is called the “turn” card. Then the last community card is dealt, that is called as “river card.”
