Chad Brown Has 10lb Tumor Removed From Stomach

It has just been announced that poker pro Chad Brown is suffering from a rare form of cancer and recently underwent surgery to have a 10lb tumour removed from his abdomen.
The like-able poker player, presenter and actor has earnt in excess of $3.1 million from live tournaments since cashing in at his first event in 1993. Despite Brown having had many successes throughout his career, he will perhaps have a personal fondness for the 2006 Five-Star World Poker Classic, in which he finished 9th for $205,040.
Although not his biggest score to date, Brown did meet his future wife fellow poker pro Vanessa Rousso at the event.
Although known as a prolific tournament poker player, Gus Hansen’s online cash game results have been a little inconsistent at best with his graph looking more like New Jersey’s Kingda Ka roller coaster ride.
After a blistering finish to 2010, Gus Hansen has continued in much the same vein in 2011 and is already up $1,796,648 for the year so far.

If the rumours are true then it would appear that the 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymer has left his sponsored poker room PokerStars, possibly in response to financial incentive cut-backs by the site.
