Its a sad day for those in Ireland as William Hill leaves their shores. Perhaps the bookmakers simply found it too hard to compete in Paddy Powers backyard. Irish punters certainly wont see a massive change though as Hills only had 15 remaining stores in Ireland.
These stores were sold to Boylesports, another bookmaker to spring up from the Irish countryside.
